I’m interested in growth as a system: product surfaces, experimentation, distribution, incentives, and the teams that can make all of it compound. I also like going deep on subjects that are simply interesting enough to earn a serious essay.
Current
I work on growth at OpenAI. More broadly, I like building the systems behind product adoption and expansion: onboarding, retention, lifecycle experiences, monetization, experimentation, and the infrastructure that lets those surfaces improve quickly.
Previously
I led Growth Engineering at Coinbase, where the work spanned notifications, targeting, referrals, incentives, and subscription-adjacent bets. Before that, I led onboarding, retention, and consumption experiences at LinkedIn Learning, and earlier in my career I worked deeply in mobile product engineering at MyFitnessPal.
How I Work
- Start from the system: Growth is rarely one feature. It is usually an interaction between product design, incentives, distribution, and execution quality.
- Build strong loops: The best organizations learn quickly because instrumentation, experimentation, and accountability are built into the way they operate.
- Keep the bar high: I care about clear thinking, strong teams, and ambitious execution without unnecessary drama.
On Writing
Some topics belong in shorter notes. Others need a proper deep dive. This site is for both: practical writing on growth and product, plus longer essays whenever curiosity wins.
